Short Essay Example

Short Essay The following graph shows the statistics of motor vehicle theft in Malaysia from 1980 – 2010. From the graph it is clearly seen that the amount of motorcycles theft has been increasing drastically throughout the years compared to private cars theft. This might been caused by the fact that motorcycles are easy to be stolen compared to cars. But the amount of cars theft in 2010 has also been increased since 1980. Which means the activity of all vehicles theft has been increasing throughout the years. To avoid from becoming a victim of vehicles theft, there are a few preventive measures that can be taken. The first measure is to avoid parking your vehicle in a secluded place. This goes for both motorcycles and private cars owner. You should always make sure that you park your vehicle at the well lit areas at night or if possible, park at places that you can see your vehicle. The next measure is to install a tracking device such as GPS on vehicles. The GPS enables the police to track the whereabouts of stolen vehicles as long as the thieves didn’t dismantle it right away after stealing the vehicle. Vehicles owners also can install extra locks to their vehicle to avoid being stolen. For example car owners can install a steering lock while motorcycles comes with fork lock which is equivalent to car steering lock. This is an extra security to prevent their vehicle from the thieves. Extra locks mean extra work for the thieves to steal the vehicles and they might just change their mind from doing so. For car owners, make sure to keep your belongings that you left in your car out of sight, including packages, boxes and sealed things because it can attract attention from thieves. You should always make sure that you lock your vehicles before leaving it. Motorcycle owners should avoid parking next or between large trucks, SUVs or anything that can help cover thieves trying to steal your motorcycle. Use a chain and extra locks on the rim or stand or handle of your motorcycle. If you have to leave your motorcycle outside make sure to lock it to a pipe or something, put it around the back of the apartment buildings where someone just passing by cant see it. Also when buying second-hand vehicles, it is good to take these precautionary steps to avoid purchasing stolen goods. Make sure the vehicle you are buying comes with original and complete documents. If in doubt about the vehicle you are buying, make a quick check with either the police or Road Transport Department for assurance. Do not be enticed or lured by the (cheap) price because most stolen vehicles are sold at a lower rate than the market price. Vehicle and motorcycle theft became serious as the statistic rising, as the owner we should keep aware the safety of our vehicles and motorcycle. ( 504 words) QUESTION 2 Factory can cause many kind of pollution such as thermal pollution, chemical pollution, air pollution and noise pollution. We should protest against the plan of setting up a factory near our housing area as it is hazardous to all its residents. Electricity which is used in factory is generated by heat stored in the fossil fuels and the stored energy creates a heat flow that drives turbine. The turbines then generate electricity. All the electricity try to be organized so that it may travel in the same direction in a small line. Organization of this sort is created by man and so it does not occur naturally. Excess heat is then created because of the unnatural processes of creating organization. The excess heat lead to thermal pollution which contributes to global warming. If the factory is situated near a housing area then all its residents will experience changes in temperature around them. Factories using single unit machines would cause a sound of about 98 dB and above. This means as the number of machines being use by the factory increase so does the noise it produce. If the factory is situated near a housing area the immediate effect to its residents is deterioration of the ability to hear things clearly. This is why we must go against the plan of building the factory. We wouldn’t want to have noise pollution in our residential area. The machines in factory works by using fuel. The more fuel being use by the factory the more smokes will it produce. These smokes will be release to the air and cause air pollution. The smoke carries particulates. Particulates are tiny particles which are grouped by their size. The smaller the particulates are of a noxious substance, the more dangerous it is as it will be able to travel more deeply into the airways of peoples who breathe it in. People who lives near a factory is facing the risk of having health problems. Last but not least is the chemical pollution caused by the release of some toxic chemical in the factory. The chemical waste will pollute the soil and water in the surrounding area. The soil will be highly toxic and unsafe for people. The chemically polluted water will be unsafe for elementary uses as swimming, fishing and drinking water supply. An example of dangerous contaminant that has been entering the food chains are the polychlorinated biphenyl compounds, which are components in adhesives, plastic wrap and various lubricants. It can be concluded here that the building of a factory near our housing area will cause more disadvantages than advantages to its residents. The more people realise about this is the better as we all must stand together to protest against the plan of building a factory near our housing area. We all must protect our environment from harmful pollution. We wouldn’t want our children to grow up in a polluted area. We need to provide a safe and healthy environment for our generation in the future. (502 words) QUESTION 3 Plagiarism is a growing concern across universities in Malaysia and internationally. The definition of Plagiarism can be vary across the disciplines in accordance with differences in knowledge, authorship conventions and traditions. The University’s Examination Regulations define plagiarism as the unacknowledged inclusion in a student’s work of material derived from the published or unpublished work of another. This constitutes plagiarism whether it is intentional or unintentional. â€Å"work† here includes internet sources as well as printed material. There are many reasons for the rapid growth in plagiarism. One of it is the fact that students nowadays have increasingly ready access to downloadable information from the internet and assessment tasks. They tend to copy everything from the pages in the internet instead of making their own opinion about the topic. This might been caused by the students lack of knowledge and inexperience. Students have not been told about plagiarism at school and do not know how to avoid it. To avoid this from happening, students should be reminded not to cut and paste information from electronic sources such as web pages. They should think independently and critically. They can read what others have said about   a topic, but they will have to acknowledge the source, and then formulate their own opinion. Some students are having difficulty with citing/referencing from other sources which caused them to do plagiarism unintentionally. To avoid this, students should make sure that they understand the lecturers expectations especially with regard to writing style, collaboration with other students, referencing/citing, sources and bibliographies. Students should always refer to their lecturer or tutor for advice to avoid plagiarism. Another cause of plagiarism is the lack of time due to poor time management. Students with poor time management often having problem to finish their assignment on time. Due to this situation they tend to choose an easy but illegal shortcuts which is plagiarising others work. This can be avoided by reminding students to plan their work and asking them to send their draft to be assessed by their lecturer or tutors before they submitted their work. Students involved in plagiarism may not be able to learn certain skills that they should learn while in college or universities such as evaluating sources, taking careful notes, selecting appropriate quotations, paraphrasing and other related skills which can be very useful to them in their life as a student and beyond. They will not learn any skills at all and their life as a students will be a complete waste of time. As a conclusion, plagiarism is a problem that has become rampant in higher learning institutions across all disciplines. Combating plagiarism is thus crucial as it is an immoral and unethical act violating another person’s intellectual property and lead to academic dishonesty. In the context of several studies, the overall findings suggest that the fight against plagiarism involves grooming the students and provide an adequate exposure. Most of the students in this university are unaware of what really constitutes plagiarism and the consequence of such academic misconduct. (501 words) QUESTION 5 GENIUS DAY CARE ? The laws relating to the licensing of drivers vary between jurisdictions. Different categories of license often exist for different types of motor vehicles, particularly large trucks and passenger vehicles. The difficulty of the driving test varies considerably between jurisdictions, as do factors such as age and the required level of practice. To get a driving licence in Malaysia, you will have to contact an instructor. An instructor is a person who’s certified and has experienced in teaching how to drive. To contact an instructor you just have to go to any driving school in your area. After that, you will have to attend a 6 hour lecture session as preparation for the theory test. The lecture will be about maintaining a good car condition. This will take about 3 hour of the 6 hour session. The next 3 hour is a practical lesson conducted by your instructor on a one to one basis. The instructor will give you instructions on car maintenance such as maintaining radiator, battery, brake fluid, engine oil and also air pressure of tyres. After attending this lecture session, you will be given two books and a CD. The first book explains about the rules and regulations on the road. The second book is a compilation of 500 questions. 50 questions from it will be chosen in the theory test that you will have to take on a PC at the driving school. The minimum score to pass the test is 42 / 50. You must pass the test before you can continue to the next step. The next step is the practical lesson. You will have to listen a lecture for 3 hours and after that the instructor will explain to you the analogy of a car before you are given an â€Å"L† licence which allows you to learn driving a car. You need to have the â€Å"L† licence to enables you to learn driving on the road only with the attendance of your instructor. The â€Å"L† licence is for the duration of 3 months only. It is a preparation before going for the full – fledged driving test by the officer from the Road Transport Department or also known as the JPJ. After passing the full fledge test by the JPJ officers then you are entitled for a â€Å"P† driving licence for the duration of 2 years before you are eligible for the CDL (Competent Driving Licence) licence. The false moon Essays

The false moon Essays The false moon Paper The false moon Paper The False Moon Any child needs stability and love from their parents while growing up. If this Is not the case the child will go out and find safe places elsewhere. The main character In the short story The False Moon, by Shirley Golden from 201 1 Is not met with stability and love. He Is almost forced out on his own trying to fit Into society. The main character is the first person narrator in the story. His name is Matt and describes himself in a rather bad way; People dont run from me; Im lanky and skinny Im told (lines 14-15, page 1). Matt tells the story of his teenage life. How his mother works all the time and is never there for him, and how he has trouble in school. The subjects are too difficult, and he doesnt like any of his classmates. When he gets the chance Matt always skips school and goes on adventures in town. He doesnt communicate with his mother or his teachers. When he is told to give his mother letters from school; he Just hides them away Instead. Because of the mothers behavior this Is not so difficult. She Is not Involved In her sons life. The mother Is described as a loud and messy woman. She comes home late, has bleached hair and bad nails. Some symbols also indicate that the mother has a problem with heavy drinking and are treated violently. This affects the relationship between the mother and Matt. He doesnt trust her, probably because of several years of disappointments and letdowns: Its probably bullwhip, with her you can never tell (line 12, page 1). Furthermore she is embarrassing, selfish and doesnt understand appropriate social behavior. It shows in the story when she hits on Mats best friend Mark, which results in Matt losing his friend who was his only safe haven. When Matt calls her a where she hits him with a bottle. She Is powerless, desperate and certainly not a good role model for Matt. Matt hides his problems, Just Like when his mother covers up her bruises. That Is why she Is unaware of her own sons difficulties, until she goes through his things one day. The signs of love or affection between the mother and the main character are very few. The main character takes care of his mother. He cleans up after her and makes tea. But she doesnt return the love and he notices it. For example when he helps her up from the floor and puts her to bed. He thinks, She doesnt reach for me (line 125, page 4). The sketch that Matt makes is a symbol of him wanting love from his mother. It shows the boys inner feelings of being trapped. The bottle is a hint at the mothers heavy drinking. He has a mother who doesnt pay attention to him and is busy looking for other men. The mall character wants and needs boundaries and he Is so desperate that he even tries to kid himself, l like to kid myself she would stop me If I didnt sneak out of the house (line 6, page 1). In the streets he finds a new safe place. The nightly ritual where he draws the lines and numbers and the girl fills in gaps he can actually count on. As he says: l didnt trust words. But lines were reliable. (lines 42-44, page 2). The lines are a symbol of the stability and the boundaries Matt is longing for. You can say that the girl isnt Just filling in the gaps in Mats drawings, but also the gaps inside of him. As the title of the short story, the nightly ritual becomes his false moon, like insects flocking around street lamps because they think it is the moon. Suddenly Matt has found something to navigate after and rely on. At the end he decides to end the disappointing life he has with his mother. From now on he will find the way on his own. He realizes that even though the guide may be wrong (the moon is false), it is better than no guide at all. The main theme in the short story The False Moon is about growing up, and finding your own guidelines in your life. In the darkest night, Matt finds his light. It gives him the courage to break free from his mother and find his own way. Shirley Golden is trying to tell us, that it is important to have guidelines and role models in your life especially as a child. It is the parents responsibility to give the child these guidelines, or else the child detaches itself from the family and is forced to grow up faster.

Bill Clinton As Vice President - Constitutional Issue

Bill Clinton As Vice President - Constitutional Issue The question of whether Bill Clinton could be elected vice president and be allowed to serve in that capacity surfaced during the 2016 presidential election when his wife, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, jokingly told interviewers the idea had crossed my mind. The question goes deeper, of course, than just whether Bill Clinton could be elected and serve as vice president. Its about whether any president who has served out his  statutory limit of two terms as president could then serve as vice president and next in the line of succession to the commander in chief. The easy answer is: We dont know. And we dont know because no president whos served two terms has actually come back and tried to win election to vice president. But there are key parts of the U.S. Constitution that appear to raise enough serious questions about whether Bill Clinton or any other two-term president could later serve as a vice president. And there are enough red flags to keep any serious presidential candidate from picking someone like Clinton as a running mate. Generally speaking, a candidate wouldn’t want to select a running mate when there’s serious doubt about the running mate’s eligibility, and when there are many other good alternatives as to whom there’s no doubt, wrote Eugene Volokh, a professor at the UCLA School of Law. The Constitutional Problems With Bill Clinton Being Vice President The 12th Amendment to the U.S.Constitution states that â€Å"no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States.† Clinton and other former U.S. presidents clearly met the eligibility requirements to be vice president  at one point - that is, they were at least 35 years old at the time of the election, they had lived in the United States for at least 14 years, and they were natural born U.S. citizens. But then comes the 22nd Amendment, which states that no person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice. So now, under this amendment, Clinton and other two-term presidents are rendered ineligible to be president again. And that ineligibility to be president, according to some interpretations, makes them ineligible to be vice president under the 12th amendment, though this interpretation has never been test by the U.S. Supreme Court. Clinton has been elected to the presidency twice. So he can no longer be elected to the presidency, according to the language of the 22nd Amendment. Does that mean he is constitutionally ineligible to serve as president, to use the language of the 12th Amendment? asked FactCheck.org journalist Justin Bank. If so, he could not serve as vice president. But finding out would certainly make for an interesting Supreme Court case. In other words, writes  Volokh in The Washington Post: Does constitutionally ineligible to the office of President mean (A) constitutionally barred from being  elected  to the office of President, or (B) constitutionally barred from  serving  in the office of President? If it means option A - if eligible is roughly synonymous, for elected offices, with electable - then Bill Clinton would be ineligible to the office of president because of the 22nd Amendment, and thus ineligible to the office of vice president because of the 12th Amendment. On the other hand, if eligible means simply constitutionally barred from serving, then the 22nd Amendment doesn’t speak to whether Bill Clinton is eligible for the office of president, since it only says that he may not be  elected  to that office. And because there’s nothing in the constitution that makes Clinton ineligible for the presidency, the 12th   Amendment doesn’t make him ineligible for the vice presidency. Cabinet Position Are Also Problematic for Bill Clinton Theoretically, the 42nd president of the United States would have been eligible to serve in his wifes cabinet, though some legal scholars might raise concerns if she were to nominate him  to secretary of the Department of State. It would have placed him in the line of succession to the presidency, and should his wife and her vice president have become unable to serve Bill Clinton would have become president - an ascension some scholars believe would have been in violation of the spirit of the Constitutions 22nd Amendment prohibition on presidents serving a third term.

The grieving process Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 750 words

The grieving process - Essay Example determinants of grief differ according to various factors such as significance attributed to the loss, circumstances surrounding the loss, and utilization of support networks. The grieving process and stages features in Elisabeth Kubler-Ross book, On Death and Dying (1969). Although, the five stages can be regarded as universal, they do not necessarily follow a linear order. Sadness (feelings of pain and sorrow) is the prominent feeling experienced in grief triggered by feelings of emptiness or despair, although distracted by denial, anger, guilt, and fear, which trigger defense mechanisms (Shives, 2008). Shock is mainly an initial response to loss as the individual seeks emotional protection from the overwhelming loss. Most individuals rationalize the loss with numbed disbelief, in an effort to escape from reality (Webb, 2011). The denial and isolation plays out when individuals perceive it to be a mistake. Denial is predominantly a temporary defense followed by isolation. Individuals normally replace denial with feelings of frustration, rage, resentment, and envy. Anger is a common response to feelings of frustration, abandonment, or powerlessness (Webb, 2011). The anger may be directed towards self, God, or life due to the perceived injustices occasioned by the loss. Pain and guilt features less extreme self-reproach regarding things that the griever feels failed to do prior to the loss (Timby, 2009). Bargaining stems from the realization that the individual cannot derive much from anger, and thus opts to make a last ditch negotiation with fate and God. This is heralded by feelings of helplessness and vulnerability. The patient or individual normally reverts to some form of childhood response. Bargaining in this case may feature an endeavor to downplay loss demonstrated by an alteration in behavior (Webb, 2011). Depression arises when the individual can no longer deny or ignore the loss as the feelings of immense loss sinks in, and anger and

Discussion Article Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 250 words - 4

Discussion - Article Example This is evident in the passage as it is confirmed by this statement â€Å"thus, intersubjectivity emerges as part of a larger problem (141).† It is a reality that subject reacts with other subjects without mediation of material elements such as body or sense media. This concept is implicit in the notion of ‘intersubjectivity’. Recognition that the person uses the materials of culture and is impacted by other people does nothing to impose on the reality that such a notion is essentially individualist (Williams, 1992). Hegel does not believe that every person has to involve in a life and death fight for recognition. This is evident as gave a suggested a different concept in substitute of a ‘formation of consciousness’, he proposed an individual level and a communal social-cultural world-chronological level.’ This can be analyzed as an attempt to prevent people from seeking recognition to much. The concept of consciousness is brought in the passage, however, not as self-consciousness but people living in self-sufficient communities. Undeniably, consciousness remains a prerequisite for recognitive self-consciousness. Hegel regards material culture as products of contemplation, and never spent bothered to understand the interrelationship between materials. While he discarded the labor procedure as a pattern of the dialectic he did not discard apprehension with the creation and use of material civilization, but changed it into a logical stature. Thus, when the promoters of ‘intersubjectivity’ expunge the usage of artifacts from unrestrained action, they ignore Spirit itself. Williams asserts that Hegel changed subjectivity to intersubjectivity. However, ‘intersubjectivity’ is incomprehensible and incoherent with core fundamentals of Hegel’s perception of subjectivity (Williams, 1992). It is accurate to conclude that recognition is an extremely un-Hegelian concept since it assumes the nonexistence of effective mediating media and artifacts. It

HR management Essay Example for Free

HR management Essay HR management forms a valuable and effective administration concerned mainly with working category. It evaluates the steps to be implemented to make the working category into further industrious, satisfied and happy. As an integral fraction of society of human resource management policies, the team have supported that the strategies need to encourage the companies to provide pioneering and flexible plans that are highly benefit. The work-life policies laid forward by the SHRM proved to be highly beneficial to employees. However, there are several human resource factors, which influence an organization to adopt the work-life plans as a vital division of SHRM practices and plans. Majority of the factors that stressed upon work life policies incorporates the demographic variation occurring with the prospective workforce, variation in social characteristics, role and responsibility changes in organizations and other governmental factors. Women make an essential part of almost all types of organization in the most modern era. Most of the working class woman wishes to conjointly take the responsibilities of their family as well as the employment terms. This was considered as an apparent factor that resulted in the emergence of family friendly plans. This plan was further termed as work life policies and rapidly gained importance in the area of SHRM. The next vital factor associated with demographic variation forms the ageing employees that raised the value of the work life policies. As per the plan, the aged workgroup may remain in the organization. However, they only need to work for very few hours or may change their shift timings as per their comfort. Most of the working people hold the responsibilities for bringing up their kids and take equal responsibilities for their aged parents. The plan allows even the aged people to support their children with their responsibilities. With the advance of modern technology, the labor market gets tightens and requires more and more skilled laborers. The organization needs to implement the work life policies to influence and regain employers who might have left the organization previously due to some or other cause. As per a study conducted by IRS, the most important motive behind the management to initiate the work life plan is strongly associated with recruitment of staffs as well as retention. As majority of leading organizations work on a 24 hour per day basis, increasing the working hours. However, there is strong requirement of flexible plans to cover these elaborated hours with efficiency. Surveys shows that adaptation of faster work pace has lead to organizational stress and most of the workers experience severe problems such as anxiety, stress, workload and inadequate personal time. These variations make the organizations to breach the government induced rules. Evaluating with respect to a legal outlook, all the working categories have a role on self care and protection and work life policies influence this particular concept. With the policies of work life, every employee may endorse a healthy and happy job environment and understand more about their social errands as a working personality. Thus, the policies offer high benefits to the employees as well as appropriate guidance with proper management to the employers.

Geometry Golden :: essays research papers

T0e ancient Parthenon in Athens is an example of the Golden rectangle used in Architecture. These are examples of the Golden Rectangle in Art. The Chambered Nautilus Is an example of the spiral shape that fits inside the golden rectangle. Constructing the Golden Rectangle Using The Golden Ratio The ratio, called the Golden Ratio, is the ratio of the length to the width of what is said to be one of the most aesthetically pleasing rectangular shapes. This rectangle, called the Golden Rectangle, appears in nature and is used by humans in both art and architecture. The Golden Ratio can be noticed in the way trees grow, in the proportions of both human and animal bodies, and in the frequency of rabbit births. The ratio is close to 1.618. Whoever first discovered these intriguing manifestations of geometry in nature must have been very excited about the discovery. A study of the Golden Ratio provides an intereting setting for enrichement activities for older students. Ideas involved are: ratio, similarity, sequences, constructions, and other concepts of algebra and goemetry. Finding the Golden Ratio. Consider a line segment of a length x+1 such that the ratio of the whole line segment x+1 to the longer segment x is the same as the ratio of the line segment, x, to the shorter segment, 1. ? Thus, ?. The resulting quadratic equation is ?. A positive root of this equation is ?, or 1.61803... This irrational number, or its reciprocal ?, is known as the Golden Ratio, phi . Now we will construct the Golden Rectangle. First we will construct a squate ABCD. ? Now we will construct the midpoint E of DC. ? Extend DC. With center E and radius EB, draw an arc crossing EC extended at C. ? Construct a perpendicular to DF at F. ? Extend AB to intersect the perpendicular at G. ? AGFD is a Golden Rectangle. Now we will measure the length and width of the rectangle. Then we will find the ratio of the length to the width.

Financial crises Essay

It is difficult to deny the fact at times of financial crises more and more people have no other choice but to become entrepreneurs (Spors & Flanderz, 2009). Due to the growing unemployment, more and more people simply cannot but use entrepreneurship as the source of wellbeing. The success of such business initiatives depends on how well new entrepreneurs are able to evaluate their operational risks. Moreover, given that operational risks are being formed at all levels of organizational performance, entrepreneurs should be extremely cautious and attentive toward such risks, and develop effective monitoring systems that would work to identify operational risks as soon as they are created. It should be noted, that for a business to be successful it is not enough to understand operational risks; entrepreneurs should remember that the latter do not account for strategic and reputational issues that are equally important in business. I believe that entrepreneurs should choose holistic approaches to business – the approaches that cover a broad range of risks and help timely identify and address them. Comparative Advantage It is obvious that comparative advantage is one of the few concepts that drive economic development and provide countries with additional production stimuli. The case of Turkey (Afsin,Yilmaz & Fahrettin, 2007) suggests that the more country invests in manufacturing the most successful and cost-efficient products, the more likely it is to gain comparative advantage over other countries and to use this comparative advantage as the source of significant profits. What seems to be true, though, is that the concept of comparative advantage does not cover all benefits the country may use when investing into the most competitive products. Comparative advantage provides countries with an opportunity to use additional profits for the development and improvement of other products. These investment opportunities create a kind of comparative advantage cycle, which national manufacturers can continuously use to increase GDP, expand research and development opportunities, and to conquer the growing share of markets.

A and P: Movie Review

Gallant After watching the film A&P In comparison to the discussion In the classroom, a lot of the topics are current trends and Issues In the 20th century. There can be much discussion about many things in the film. After watching the film however rather than from the reading and discussion in class, I pictured things differently in my own mind. Upon first trying to relate it to the sass's, I actually thought the film was pretty odder and could be possible in today's times, depending on a store and its' management, whether an independently owned little store or a big box grocery store. The main character, Sammy, who displays an 18 or 19 year old male teenagers' feelings are very much alike as all boys during the adolescence years. John Update himself reported In his Interview of when he was young and married and 29 years of age that he could relate to these types of feelings and fantasy dreams which prompted him to write the story.I could not envision however In the sass's of actual ly seeing any young girls in bathing suits that would be daring enough to walk in a store dressed in such a way. Personally, I do not recall seeing any young teenage girls do this during those times. I did grow up in the sass's. I recall most young women being more demure and even seeing something such as this might result in a police arrest possibly. Perhaps I am being naive as I was a young child during this period but don't recall families allowing their young girls to behave in such a way.Sammy appears to be bold In that time period In my opinion of how he chose to Just quit his Job because he TLD believe the same beliefs as his manager, Mr.. Lange. While growing up In the sissy, many children and adults alike, from what I saw and remember were taught to work hard and success would then follow. Many of the male adult family relatives were away serving in the Navy or Army and those at home, especially the women, had chores at home, like laundry and cooking, were working hard stil l because they had larger families to feed.My grandmother who had 13 or 14 hillier had also worked part time in a retail chain called J. Teenagers growing up in the sass's whom I was exposed to had to respect their elders and do as adults around them expected and work hard for their families with chores to do along with school work in order to receive allowances from the family In return for the hard work. The Job was Important If a teenager had one to share the wages with their family.Regarding consumers as a society of pigs, cows, and sheep, and an older woman's' attitude compared to a witch that should be burned in Salem was never even a be rebelling to soon becoming an adult in the near future and possibly could be one of these people. The 4 most popular job boards for nurses

The 4 most popular job boards for nurses Niche job boards for nurses have one thing in common - they help connect the right nurses with the right employers. Beyond that, there’s a lot of variation among the most popular ones with the highest traffic.  Some job seekers want to get in, find a job that they want, and get back out again. But others enjoy resources that help them with their career. From the employer’s standpoint, efficiency and resources count, too. Both sides are the job board’s target audience, just in different ways.  The most popular job boards have a few things in common, but the experience is quite different from one to another. Here’s how each of them serves their audience:Nurse.com Offers a Wealth of Jobs and Resources  Nurse.com  is one of the largest, if not the largest, nurse-specific job board. The tagline reads, â€Å"Where the nurses are,† and that appears to be true. Professionals from every facet of nursing can find what they’re looking for.  F rom the first moment, the user is given opportunities to navigate anywhere on the website. Featured prominently is a job search tool that offers ways to narrow the search focus, giving more relevant results. Some jobs are featured on the homepage, but the others are easy to find. This is a busy website, but it’s also clean and easy to navigate. There are a lot of options from which to choose, but it’s set up logically.  Nurse.com has several resources for nurses. Aside from the â€Å"Jobs† tab, resources for education topics, news (both national and regional), events, and awards are accessible with a click. This job board offers plenty of relevant content for users, which could account for some of its popularity.  There is a resume and profile creator link on the home page, too, as well as relevant links for employer resources.  One confusing part of the site is an icon that’s normally used to indicate a chat feature. But clicking the link directs us ers to the Nurse.com blog, which is written by contributing nurse professionals. The blog covers topics ranging from stress management to nursing ethics. NursingJobs.com Caters to Travel Nurses, and More  Nursingjobs.com  connects travel nurse professionals with the employers who need them, but it also has an option for finding permanent jobs.  The landing page lets users choose an access point as an employer who wants to post a job, or as a nurse looking for a job. Job seekers enter info into a keyword job search or employee search first, then  they are directed into the site.  Job listings are streamlined at NursingJobs.com, listed in a column format that shows the job title, Job ID number, job type (primarily travel nurses), location, job duration, and the employer.  Under the Career Options tab, job seekers can build a profile of the job they want, and get alerts when something comes available.  There is a Career Resources tab, which links to articles on topics rel evant to nursing professionals, such as interview tips. There’s also a mobile app, which is important with an increasingly mobile job seeker community.  On the employer’s side of the website, the setup is a bit different. There are resources that apply to employers, such as how to set up a profile, instructions on posting jobs, and testimonials from other employers.Nurse Recruiter Puts the Job Search at the Forefront  Nurse Recruiter  is very streamlined, with a heavy focus on getting right down to business. There’s a â€Å"register now† button at the top that lets nursing professionals create a profile to assist with the job search. It also has a â€Å"rapid apply mini-resume† button.  This website is heavy on the job search, with just a sprinkling of content.  Three options are available as points of access: Nurses, travel nurses, and employers. Each requires registration, but users can navigate through that by clicking on the image ins tead of registering. Only then can users access materials that are relevant to each area.  Nurse Recruiter isn’t as approachable or user-friendly as some of the other nurse job boards. Users need to work a bit harder than necessary to find content. But if the job search is the only reason for the visit, it fits the bill.HealtheCareers Healthcare Industry Job Board Caters to Nurses, Too  Healthecareers  isn’t a nurse-specific, it caters to healthcare in general, but it’s a large resource for nursing jobs. A search tool features prominently at the top to help users get started.  Across the top of the main page, there are tabs for accessing a wealth of content. One of those is a link to jobs, which lets users get right down to business. But other tabs include an overall resources link to a summary of new topics, and links to newsletters, articles, and blog posts separately.  The starred rating box is different from the other job boards. It lets users give feedback without interrupting the website experience. That’s a plus for the user, and for the job board owner.  Although Healthecareers isn’t dedicated to nurses only, the blog has a heavy nursing focus. There are posts on interview tips, student loan repayment options, and dealing with the stress of nursing.  If you’re a nursing professional looking to jumpstart your career, these job boards will be the perfect place to start your search!
